I met a lady today at the hotel. She is the breakfast coordinator and part-time shuttle driver. She is 72 years old and works 365 days a year. She has such a beautiful and positive spirit, despite facing great hardships, including burying her daughter and her grandson. She has a tremendous and inspiring faith. She said she was “saving her pennies” so that when she retires at 75, she can go on a cruise to the Bahamas! Soooo, I want to bless her with cash toward that dream. My goal is to raise $500 by 10A ET on Sunday, August 16. If I can inspire 250 people to each donate $2 (or 125 people to donate $4) then I can present her with a card and an envelope full of cash tomorrow morning at breakfast! Even if we don’t reach $500, I’ll make sure it’s $500. ;)
